Though Maryland has seen significant progress in the quest for justice and equal opportunity, many still find themselves marginalized or discriminated against. Senator Frosh has fought for the most significant human rights, civil rights, and equal opportunity efforts of the past two decades. As Chairman of the Judicial Proceedings Committee, he has worked to end the death penalty in Maryland, enact marriage equality and to prevent crime and recidivism through thoughtful innovation.
