Brian Frosh shows strength of support for 2014 attorney general bid

Maryland Sen. Brian E. Frosh (D-Montgomery) on Thursday announced an exploratory bid for attorney general in 2014, releasing a list of more than 100 supporters, many of them prominent names in the state’s Democratic establishment.

Members of Frosh’s exploratory committee include Rep. Chris Van Hollen; Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett; Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker; former governors Parris Glendening and Harry Hughes; former Attorney General Stephen Sachs; and more than half of Frosh’s colleagues in the state Senate, including President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr. (D-Calvert).
