AFSCME COUNCIL 3 ENDORSES STATE SENATOR BRIAN FROSH FOR MARYLAND ATTORNEY GENERAL IN 2014

AFSCME Council 3 praises Brian Frosh’s commitment to protecting consumers and working families of Maryland.

Baltimore, MD- Today, State Senator Brian Frosh received the endorsement by AFSCME Council 3, representing 25,000 university and private sector employees in Maryland.

 “As a true champion for working families, we believe Brian Frosh is the candidate with the best record of fighting for every man, woman and child in Maryland,” said AFSCME Council 3 President Patrick Moran.

Frosh officially accepted the endorsement at a morning rally held in Baltimore.  More than 100 delegates, representing AFSCME local unions throughout the state were in attendance. In addition to the AFSCME endorsement, Frosh recently received the endorsement of Maryland State & District of Columbia AFL-CIO.

“I deeply appreciate the support of the hard working union members of the state of Maryland.  As your next Attorney General, I will use the law to protect and improve the lives of all Marylanders, and protect the rights and dignity of every worker,” said Frosh.
