MARYLAND STATE AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AFL-CIO ENDORSES STATE SENATOR BRIAN FROSH FOR MARYLAND ATTORNEY GENERAL IN 2014

President Fred Mason praised State Senator Brian Frosh’s record of fighting for consumers and protecting Maryland’s working families.

 

Baltimore, MD- The Maryland and District of Columbia AFL-CIO endorsed Democratic candidate, Brian Frosh for Maryland Attorney General.

 “Brian Frosh has been a champion of working families throughout his life. We believe he is the only choice for Attorney General, and in that role he will continue to advocate for economic security and justice so that all Marylanders have equal opportunity,“ said Mason.

In expressing his appreciation for receiving this endorsement, Senator Frosh said, "As your next Attorney General, you can be confident that the interests and voices of organized labor will be heard, listened to, and respected.  I will enforce the laws that protect the rights and dignity of every worker.  I look forward to working with you during the 2014 campaign and as Maryland Attorney General."

Frosh officially accepted the endorsement at their Maryland State and District of Columbia AFL-CIO 29th Biennial Convention, held in Baltimore on Saturday.
