“It is such an honor to receive this award. Throughout my 28 years in the General Assembly, I have fought for police—for providing them the instruments to fight crime and keep our families and children safe,” said Frosh. “They have been a great partner in the General Assembly and I fully expect to keep working with them as Attorney General to make Maryland safer.”

John “Rodney” Bartlett, president of MD State FOP, said that while the FOP is sad to see such a committed legislator in Annapolis leave. He noted that Frosh was always someone who fought for Maryland police officers and he was truly an ally of the FOP.

“Brian Frosh’s time in the General Assembly was instrumental for what we do at the FOP, which is the protection of all Marylanders and every cop on the street. With Brian Frosh, we have always had a trusted leader,” said Bartlett.
