UB School of Law to Host Debate Among Democratic Attorney General Candidates -- Monday, June 9

The University of Baltimore School of Law will host a debate among the three candidates for the Democratic nomination for attorney general on Monday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the John and Frances Angelos Law Center's moot courtroom (1401 N. Charles St., Baltimore 21201). UB School of Law Dean Ronald Weich will serve as moderator and a panel of three journalists will pose the questions to the candidates, Del. Aisha Braveboy, Del. Jon Cardin and Sen. Brian Frosh. The event is free and open to the public.

The debate at the University of Baltimore will be the second of two official debates ahead of the Democratic primary for Maryland attorney general on June 24.

While the candidates have participated in a number of forums around the state, the debates are the only events organized by the campaigns and supervised by the Maryland Democratic Party.

The debate will offer voters the opportunity to meet the candidates and to hear them discuss the important issues in the race for Maryland's next attorney general.
